Solv Privacy Policy

Version: 2026-06

Effective date: June 1, 2026

Overview

Solv ("we," "us") helps you understand your debt picture and explore options in plain language. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address and profile details you provide during onboarding.
  • Financial information you enter: debts, balances, and goals you choose to share.
  • Bank data (optional): if you link an account, we receive read-only account and transaction data from our bank-link partner. We do not store your bank login credentials.
  • Usage data: basic product analytics (pages viewed, features used) to improve the experience.
  • Support communications: messages you send us for help.

How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Build and maintain your financial snapshot
  • Provide AI-assisted guidance within the product
  • Send service-related emails or texts you opt into
  • Improve security, reliability, and product quality
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

AI and automated processing

Solv uses AI to help organize information and suggest next steps. Outputs are informational only — not legal, tax, or investment advice. You can review and edit anything before acting on it.

Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the product (hosting, email, bank linking) under strict contracts
  • Authorities when required by law

We do not share your data with creditors unless you explicitly ask us to in a future feature.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request export or deletion from Settings. Some records may be retained where required for legal or security reasons.

Your choices

  • Decline optional permissions (such as SMS) at any time in Settings
  • Revoke bank linking from Settings
  • Request a copy of your data or account deletion
